Six-figure homes are ready to be built in this Myrtle Beach-area community. Here’s what to know

A trio of home builders involved in early development of Horry County’s Sayebrook project are going to market with their floor plans.

Envisioned as one of the region’s largest planned communities boasting nearly 1,700 homes when fully built out, construction on the first round of homes is expected to start next year.

Contractors Pulte Homes, Saussy Burbank and Toll Brothers are putting up 151 homes as part of Sayebrook’s residential component on more than 700 acres straddling U.S. Highway 17 and S.C. Route 544.

Toll Brothers recently listed a dozen home designs priced from $400,000 and up, from 1,721 square feet to just under 3,000 square feet.

Prices aren’t listed for Pulte’s stock, but they’ll be built between 1,832 and 2,800 square feet, according to its website.

And Saussy Burbank opened a “Sayebrook” portal on its website, though floor plans, cost estimates and other information hasn’t yet been added.

The homes will join a rapidly growing commercial arm of the Sayebrook venture that includes major retailers like Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Target and Walmart along the highway corridors.
