Six adults face charges after Snow Hill basketball game fight: here's what to know.

The investigation into a fight that took place after a Snow Hill basketball game in January is officially closed, with 12 people identified, including six adults who have been charged.

On Jan. 18, a fight took place in a hallway outside the gym at Snow Hill High School following a boys high school varsity basketball game between Snow Hill and Stephen Decatur. According to the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, as a result of their investigation into the fight, six juveniles were identified who took an active part in the fight. Juvenile referrals have been completed for each and have been forwarded to the Department of Juvenile Services.

In addition to the juveniles, six adults were also identified who took an active part in the fight. Applications for charges were completed and presented to a District Court Commissioner for consideration, and the Court Commissioner found probably cause in each application and issued Criminal Summons for these six adults:

  • Zyaire Nahshon Lamont Johnson, 22 years old

    • Two counts of second degree assault and one count of disorderly conduct

  • Anthony Lamont Bibbins Jr., 18 years old

    • Second degree assault and disorderly conduct

  • Gionni La Trae Murph, 25 years old

    • Second degree assault and disorderly conduct

  • Jowan Clayton, 29 years old

    • Second degree assault and disorderly conduct

  • Juliun Holden, 19 years old

    • Second degree assault and disorderly conduct

  • Takhai Wise, 24 years old

    • Second degree assault and disorderly conduct
