Single-engine plane crashes in field near Denton airport, fire department says

A single-engine airplane crashed Wednesday morning in a field just north of Denton Enterprise Airport, according to the Denton Fire Department.

“Thankfully the one person on board is OK,” the fire department said in a post on X shortly before noon.

The small plane landed in a field off Jim Christal Road after a reported loss of power, according to the post.
