The Sims 4 has addressed the game's bugs and performance in a new statement.

The community has become increasingly concerned and vocal about the life-simulation game's technical issues.

It isn't uncommon for new base game updates and packs to introduce fresh bugs. For example, the two most recent packs – Crystal Creations and For Rent – both saw hotfix patches rolled out days after their respective launches. While some technical issues get fixed, others remain unresolved leading to growing frustration.

Today, the team shared a letter with the community on social media, thanking everyone for their continued support and revealing that they now have a dedicated group whose primary focus is to tackle the game's technical issues.
