Simone Biles Shares Super Sweet Message on IG Saying She Is ‘So Proud’ of Her Boyfriend
When Simone Biles isn't winning gold medals or beating records, she likes to spend time with her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens, and we can never get enough of the posts these two make for each other on social media.
Yesterday, the 24-year-old gymnast shared a photo to her Instagram Story from the @everythingtexans account. The caption of the shared post said, “S Jonathan Owens will start Sunday’s game against the Jaguars. WR Jordan Veasy and S Grayland Arnold have been elevated to the active roster for Sunday’s game.”
Along with the exciting update, Biles wrote, “LFG!!!!!” She also added two brown heart emojis and a couple smiling emojis with tears, saying, “So proud. The work he puts in day n & out. So deserving! Ily.”
Following her first loving post, Biles followed up with another image that she shared from the official Houston Texans page, where Owens was seen climbing onto a plane to head to the game. The caption said, “Always on go.”
The 26-year-old Owens is a safety for the Houston Texans and he was first signed back in the fall of 2019. He and Biles first met online in 2020 and they hung out right before the beginning of the pandemic. They started dating soon after.
But Biles isn't the only one who is supportive on social media.
This past summer, when she headed to the Tokyo Olympics, her boyfriend was constantly showing his support on Instagram. After Biles received a bronze medal in the individual balance beam final, Owens made a Story honoring her achievement. He shared a photo of Biles and said, “Words can’t explain how proud I am of you right now!!” He followed this up with a post listing all of her athletic stats.
Talk about a supportive couple.
