Simon Cowell's 9-Year-Old Son Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance During 'America's Got Talent'

Simon Cowell had a very special guest join him on the America's Got Talent season 18 finale red carpet: his son, Eric.

The TV personality's nine-year-old stepped out for the photo op alongside his mother, Cowell's fiancée, Lauren Silverman, as the trio smiled and posed together for family captures at the event.

Eric kept it cool and casual in a striped polo shirt, blue denim jeans, and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers. His famous dad, for his part, wore his frequented uniform of a tee underneath a blazer, also with jeans, while mom added a bit of glamour to the group in a sleek, black ankle-length dress and heels.

The elementary schooler was even snapped in some photos sans his parents, kneeling down for some additional pictures with the series winners, Adrian Stoica and his dog, Hurricane. The pair was crowned on Wednesday night, Sept. 27, taking home $1 million and the golden ticket to headline a show in Las Vegas.

The adorable kid sighting was a treat for fans of the London-born record executive, as he and Silverman's child is largely kept out of the spotlight.

Cowell has previously credited fatherhood with changing the course of his life. "Before Eric, my life was 99 percent work. I was obsessed with it," he admitted to The Sun, before adding: "Now Eric is around, I don't work through the night anymore. If he hadn't come along, God knows what would have happened."

The 63-year-old also praised his little one, whom he "adores," and his natural personality, telling HELLO!, "Genuinely, he is kind. Some people are and some people aren't, but that's just him—he is kind."
