Simon Cowell's 10-Year-Old Son Looks Just Like His Dad in New Photo

A new photo shared over the Easter holiday demonstrated that Simon Cowell’s son really does look more like his father with every passing day.

The photo was included in a series of snapshots taken on Easter that Terri Seymour, Cowell’s friend and former partner, shared on Instagram on Tuesday, April 2. The first photo in the Instagram carousel showed Cowell, 64, standing with one arm wrapped around Eric, the 10-year-old son he shares with fiancé Lauren Silverman. Silverman and her older son, Adam, stood beside Cowell and Eric.

Seymour’s family and Dancing with the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli also posed for the photo, with Tonioli getting into the holiday spirit by wearing a pair of pink bunny ears. The group was gathered in a large grassy yard that looked like it was bordering the ocean. Palm trees stood in the background beneath a mostly blue sky, though a stretch of clouds was visible above the water.

Cowell and his son were both dressed in black, with the America’s Got Talent judge wearing his classic black T-shirt, black pants, dark sunglasses and white sneakers. Eric similarly paired a black T-shirt with black shorts and a pair of white flip-flops. Their outfit choices further emphasized how much the father and son look alike.

Appearances aside, the American Idol alum has spoken previously about how having a child has changed his life for the better. Cowell admitted during a 2022 interview with The Sun that he used to be “really unhappy” and “obsessed” with work. Years later, he said he had become “a very different man.”

Now that Cowell has Eric, “I don’t work through the night anymore,” he said at the time, adding that were it not for his son, “God knows what would have happened.”

Cowell and Silverman got engaged in late 2021 during a vacation in Barbados. As of early April 2024, the couple had not announced when they plan to tie the knot.
