The Late Show will look a little bit different tonight because Stephen is At Home with Covid (he’s ok!),” the show’s official Instagram page posted Monday afternoon. “But be sure to tune in as the show will go on remotely with monologue.”

The show’s guests for the night include actress Jada Pinkett Smith and comic Ricky Velez. Everything kicks off in its regular time slot of 11:35/10:35c on CBS.

It’s currently unknown how long the host will have to work remotely.

Pinkett Smith recently made headlines when she announced that she and husband Will Smith have been separated since 2016 — including the time they attended the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony together. She will be promoting her new memoir, “Worthy,” which goes on sale Oct. 17. In the book, she elaborates on the state of her relationship with Smith, and even devotes an entire chapter to the infamous slap heard ’round the world.

Later this week, Colbert will also welcome host and political commentator Rachel Maddow, rock band Talking Heads (who recently reunited to celebrate the anniversary of Stop Making Sense) and Grammy-award winner Jon Batiste.
