Short drive for ‘The Virtuosa’ Deonna Purrazzo to Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Kissimmee

For Deonna Purrazzo and Steve Maclin, one of the perks — when Impact Wrestling produces TV tapings in Kissimmee — is the short drive to work from their home.

That occurs Jan. 20-21 at Osceola Heritage Park.

With that, they will be getting plenty of housing requests from their peers, who want to save a dime on lodging.

The lives of professional wrestlers.

All in a day’s (or in this case two days) work.

Video interview with Impact Wrestling star Knockout “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo, a former multitime Impact Wrestling Knockouts champ and tag champ, gearing for Impact Wrestling’s New Year’s Revolution in Kissimmee.

Purrazzo recently wrestled and did commentary during Impact Wrestling’s Winter Warfare at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines. She teamed with Gisele Shaw, accompanied by her new content creator and executive stylist, Jay Vidal.

Vidal is from South Florida, a graduate of Deerfield Beach High School. WWE alum Gangrel trained him, and he wrestled the Florida indies, including Coastal Championship Wrestling and Gangrel Wrestling Asylum.

On the Impact Wrestling broadcast table, Purrazzo joined WWE alums Tom Hannifan (Tom Phillips) and Matthew Rehwoldt (Aiden English). In 2021, Purrazzo and Rehwoldt teamed to win Impact Wrestling’s Homecoming King & Queen Tournament.

Originally from Livingston, New Jersey, the 28-year-old Purrazzo recently married Impact Wrestling wrestler Steve Maclin (WWE NXT alum Steve Cutler). They have a dog.

Debuting in 2013, she received training from Damian Adams and Rip Rogers in New Jersey and later from coaches at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. She wrestled on the indies and for WWE NXT, Ring of Honor, Stardom (Japan) and AAA (Mexico).

Purrazzo is gearing for Impact Wrestling’s New Year’s Revolution, which is Jan 20-21 at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, near her current residence in Orlando.
