Shore high school golf player rankings. Top boys, girls from senior class
Some have been on the scene for four seasons, while others are rising to the upper ranks of Shore Conference golf as their high school careers are nearing the final hole. And it's the current crop of seniors, both boys and girls, who have driven the narrative on the links throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties this spring.
With the county and conference tournaments in the rearview mirror, it's time to look at who has played the best golf from the Class of 2024, as they reach the final chapter of their high school careers.
Here are our rankings for the top seniors at the Shore this season. And be sure to check out our rankings for the top juniors from the Class of 2025, as well as for the top freshmen and sophomores.
1. Jack Aiello, Colts Neck 2024
Finally healthy after battling with injuries the past few seasons and the results have been impressive, winning the Monmouth County Tournament title, while losing in a playoff at the Shore Conference Tournament.
2. Pat Scenna, Wall 2024
The Monmouth University-commit, who won the 2023 MCT, won the Wall Invitational to open the season, before placing second at the MCT and fourth at the SCT.
3. John Welch, Ranney 2024
Came from far back at the SCT after going 4-over on the first five holes, eventually forcing a playoff by sinking a long birdie putt on the final green before winning it on the first playoff hole. Placed fifth at the MCT.
4. Daniel Cassidy, Middletown South 2024
One of the area’s top players for several seasons opened the 2024 campaign by finishing fifth at the MCT, before a near-miss at the SCT, finishing third, a shot out of the playoff.
5. Patrick Sharpe, Holmdel 2024
The close calls continue for the Monmouth commit, who placed second at last year’s SCT, finishing fourth at the 2024 SCT, two shots out of the playoff, and seventh at the MCT.
6. Christian Klemanowicz, Freehold Twp. 2024
Building on last year’s third place finish at the NJSIAA Central/South Group 4 sectional, the season opened with a seventh-place finish at the MCT, before getting sixth at the SCT.
7. Boden Pepe, Wall 2024
Helped the Crimson Knights win a second straight MCT team title with a 76 at Charleston Springs, good for 13th place, before grabbing eighth place at the SCT with a 75.
8. Jack Hennelly, Monmouth 2024
The Saint Peter’s commit has been solid all spring, shooting 76 at both the MCT and SCT, finishing 13th and ninth, respectively.
9. Charlie Cormey, Wall 2024
Finished tied for second at the MCT, while helping the Crimson Knights win the team title with a 298 total, before finishing 23rd at the SCT.
10. Jack Puma, CBA 2024
Was part of the three-way tie for second at the MCT, as the Colts shot 301 as a team and finished second, as well as placing 29th at the SCT.

1. Yasmeen Muhammad, Barnegat
The 2023 Ocean County Tournament champion finished a close second this season, as the Bengals finished second behind Southern, and was fifth at the Shore Conference Tournament, tops among Ocean County competitors.
2. Peyton Cerminaro, Howell
The 2021 SCT champion had a strong showing this spring, placing fourth, after a top-10 finish at the MCT, while competing for the Howell boys team.
3. Alex Presutti, Ranney
Grabbed a share of fifth place at the SCT, helping the Panthers place seventh as a team, after a solid 14th place finish at the MCT.
4. Riley Lawrence, Shore
Has had a rock-solid final season on the links for the Blue Devils, with ninth-place finishes at both the SCT and MCT, while also playing for the school’s softball team.
5. Reese Corcoran, Ocean
Began the season with a 16th place finish at the MCT, before improving to 12th place against a deeper field at the SCT.
6. Ava Ciaglia, Marlboro
Came through at the SCT with a 17th place finish, helping push the Mustangs to a second-place finish, after finishing 17th at the MCT.
7. Caroline Hickey, Rumson-Fair Haven
A top-20 finish at the SCT, firing a 98 at Jumping Brook, helped the Bulldogs grab third place overall, to go with a top-25 finish individually at the MCT.
8. Colleen Ragan, St. Rose
The Purple Roses had a strong showing at the MCT, finishing second among Shore Conference teams, with Ragan finishing 20th overall, before placing 21st at the SCT.
9. Haley Austin, Lacey
Finished 23rd overall, and seventh among Ocean County golfers, at the SCT, after placing 12th with at the OCT at LBI National.
10. Cloe Wright, Jackson Memorial
Fired an 85 at LBI National to grab fourth place at the OCT, backing that performance up with a top-25 finish at the SCT.
