The Shoes Every Woman Over 40 Should Own Right Now, According to a Celebrity Stylist
There's no shame in having a full closet of trendy boots and flirty high heels. After all, these accessories can work wonders for our outfits (and not to mention, they're totally Instagram-worthy). But as amazing as they look with our outfits, it always helps to have some essential footwear in your collection, you know, the kind that's practical, timeless and actually comfortable to walk in.
To help us determine the best options for women over 40, we turned to celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, who sat down with PureWow chat about all things fashion and his recent partnership with Capital One Shopping.
While discussing footwear must-haves, Goreski explained that easy and cozy is the best way to go. He told us, "I'm a man over 40, so I've been buying a lot of shoes that are easy to take on and off, whether it's a Birkenstock,, or whether a Croc floats your boat."
Goreski also revealed that slip-ons are another great option, adding that his time in quarantine has caused him to gravitate towards "really good" footwear. He explained, "I'm loving the slip-ons trends, so whether that's a slide or it's a little loafer, something that is easy to get in and out of, to go and do errands, but also, it's a cute little fashion item that we can wear with our sweats, that we can wear with our jeans, or if we're choosing to get dressed up. I think that's a good way to go right now."
