Sheriff's officials need help finding 65-year-old man missing in Martin County

MARTIN COUNTY — Martin County sheriff’s officials are asking for help in finding a 65-year-old man last seen nearly a week ago.

Frank Joseph Rega last was seen Feb. 27 taking a walk in the Montego Cove community where he lives, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Montego Cove is on Southeast Cove Road west of U.S. 1.

Rega is 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds. His eyes are brown, and his hair is white.

“Mr. Rega has recently switched medications and may be experiencing side effects that can make him seem disoriented,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.

Rega was wearing light blue cargo shorts with a white stripe, a gray V-neck shirt and white shoes, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Those with information about Rega are asked to call 911.
