Sheridan, Blosser headline All-MVL Baseball selections

The high school baseball season has come to an end for Muskingum Valley League teams, and the all-league squads were released on Thursday.

Teams were selected by the league's coaches.

Sheridan's Caden Sheridan was tabbed the MVL Big School Division Player of the Year, while Tri-Valley's Brady Kaufman was named Pitcher of the Year and Marc Hadley was Coach of the Year, leading the Scotties to the division title.

Joining Sheridan and Kaufman on First Team were Tri-Valley's Kade Hindel and Gavin Harrold, Sheridan's AJ Winders and Brody White, Maysville's Tyler Debolt, John Glenn's Jesse Driskel and Noah Winland and Philo's Josh Gooden.

Second-Team honorees included Maysville's Kolton Gifford, Coen Fink and Todd Saxton, Sheridan's Bryson Ruff and Monty Eden, Tri-Valley's Kian Drummonds, Ashton Sensibaugh and Kyler Brennen, John Glenn's Wylee Woodard and River View's Maguire Werntz.

Honorable mention went to Ryan Parmer and Wesley Armstead of Maysville, Nathan Better and Ryan Lamonica of Tri-Valley, Tyler Turnes and Ryan Kuhn from Sheridan, Mack Wilson, Cole Greenwalt and Layton Massie of River View, Roman Gallitz from John Glenn and Eric Durant, Jack Lincicome, Eli Roush and Cooper Radcliffe from Philo.

New Lexington swept the Small School awards with Garrett Blosser earning Player of the Year, Isaac McGill being named Pitcher of the Year and Dan Morgan receiving Coach of the Year.

Joining Blosser and McGill on First Team were New Lexington's Clay Miller, West Muskingum's Wes Houston, Cam Fowler, Rashid SeSay and Ashton Ansel, Morgan's Carson Mummey, Meadowbrook's Kade Winnett and Crooksville's Eli Sprankle.

Morgan's Tavian Myers, Owen McCoy and Logan Niceswanger, Coshocton's Coby Moore, New Lexington's Bentley Hanson, Jerek Braglin and Mason Pyle, West Muskingum's Cale McGreevy and Meadowbrook's Cohen Miles and Andy Hardy made Second Team.

Kole Searl and Witten Schaad from Morgan, Gunner Davis of Meadowbrook, Brady Cottrell and Bo White of Crooksville, Gage Wright from Coshocton, Sam Wiseman from West Muskingum and Drew Barnette and Jonathan Dold of New Lexington earned Honorable Mention.
