Sheetz is offering drivers a deep discount on gas in time for July 4.

It will cost just $1.776 a gallon to fill up on Tuesday at Sheetz locations in six states including Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina, convenience chain announced in a news release.

The discount is available all day and applies to regular, E85 (flex fuel), Unleaded 88, mid-grade and premium fuel grades, according to the release.

Diesel and ethanol free fuels are excluded, however.

“We hope this discount helps our customers keep a little more change in their wallets as they travel to celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family, with an obvious nod to our nation’s birthday,” Travis Sheetz, president and CEO of Sheetz, said in a statement.

The national average for a gallon of regular gas was $3.53 as of July 3, about 4 cents cheaper than last week, according to AAA.
