Sharpshooters and skywalkers: 67 South Shore High School Boys Basketball Players to Watch
There are premier scorers, defenders and facilitators.
Whether its a walking double-double like Abington's Connor Pease, a do-it-all physical specimen like Brockton's 6-foot-8 sophomore Chidi Nwosu or a hyper-athletic scorer like Holbrook's Armani Perkins, the South Shore and Brockton-area are home to all kinds in high school boys basketball.
There are 64 other standouts that fit those categories and stand alone, unique in their own rights.
Now unveiling the list of 67 South Shore high school boys basketball players to watch this winter, with data compiled via a preseason coaches poll and reported scores.
Connor Pease, Abington
Senior center is a dominant post presence on both ends of the floor for the Green Wave. A reigning South Shore League All-Star, Pease averaged 18 points and 14 rebounds last year.
Tyler Staiti, Abington
Sophomore sharpshooter is a returning South Shore League All-Star who averaged over 17 points per game last season. His 91 made threes as a freshman is the second-most in a single season in school history. He closed the campaign averaging 26.5 points per game in his last four.
Kingston Maxwell, Abington
Sophomore guard is in his second season as a starter. He averaged 9 points per game last winter, and coach Peter Serino said he is a "strong offensive player looking to make a big leap from freshman year."
Tristan Rodriguez, Archbishop Williams
Senior guard is one of the lone foundational pieces from the Bishops' championship run last season, as he averaged 16.4 points per game on 47.5% shooting from 3-point range.

Jordan Medeiros, Avon
Medeiros scored 24 points and dished out 7 assists in a 71-57 win over Hull on Dec. 22.
Theo Moore, Braintree
Senior point guard led the Wamps in scoring a season ago.
Caleb Parsons-Gomes, Braintree
Senior forward is a versatile, standout athlete who can play many different positions.
Noah Perry-Lewis, Bridgewater-Raynham
The Trojans' leading scorer, Perry-Lewis scored 24 points in a win over Scituate on Dec. 23.
Deshawn Faulk, Bridgewater-Raynham
Faulk is a consistent double-digit scorer for the Trojans.
Cason Faulk, Bridgewater-Raynham
Faulk won Larry Fisher Holiday Tournament MVP by scoring 17 points in the Trojans' championship win over Belmont on Dec. 29.
Bobby Louis, Bridgewater-Raynham
Louis drilled a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to bury Whitman-Hanson in double overtime on Dec. 21. He scored 13 points in the win.
Chidi Nwosu, Brockton
This 6-foot-8 sophomore center does a little bit of everything for the Boxers. He posted an average of 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks per game as a freshman All-Scholastic last year.

John Francois, Brockton
Senior power forward plays solid defense and slashes effectively to the basket for the Boxers.
Za Za Francoeur, Canton
Coach Dan Kiser calls Francoeur a "tenacious defender," adding that he is versatile and can guard multiple positions.
Jeremiah Predin, Canton
Coach Dan Kiser said Previn is an "athletic wing/poster that can play in the box or on the perimeter. He has great instincts on the glass."

Junior guard came off the bench last year and is ready to assume a bigger role this time around. Said coach Bob Fisher, "Jake, like Molloy, is a good scorer and tenacious on defense."

Senior forward had 18 points and 8 rebounds in a loss to Scituate on Jan. 2.
Hunter Wood, North Quincy
Freshman forward has made a strong first impression for the Raiders. He had 18 points and 9 rebounds in a loss to Weymouth in the Adams Holiday Tournament on Dec. 27.
Kobe Nguyen, North Quincy
Junior point guard runs the show for the Raiders. He had 16 points and 6 assists in a loss to Weymouth in the Adams Holiday Tournament on Dec. 27.
Nick Adams, Norwell
Adams scored 22 points a win over Holbrook on Dec. 29.
Jake Willard, Oliver Ames
Senior guard went viral for sinking a half-court shot at the buzzer to sink Cardinal Spellman. He also had 15 points in a loss to Stoughton on Dec. 15.
Matt Delcore, Pembroke
Coach Matt Vincenzi called this senior forward a "three-level scorer with great length and finishing ability." Delcore has had four games of scoring 20 or more this season.
Jacob Derochea, Pembroke
Junior point guard is a capable shooter and distributer for the Titans.

Senior averaged 8 points and 8 rebounds a game last year. A two-year starter on the hardwood and baseball diamond, Quinn will play baseball at Keene State next year.

Senior guard is a three-year varsity player for the Eagles.
Al Marzullo, Plymouth South
Junior swingman posted 16 points and 8 rebounds in a win over rival Plymouth North on Dec. 21.
Justin LaChance, Plymouth South
Senior guard is a breakout athlete on both the gridiron and the hardwood. He had 20 points in a win over rival Plymouth North on Dec. 12.
Danny Adams, Quincy
Senior buried Hanover the buzzer, the highlight of his 37-point explosion against the Hawks on Dec. 19.
Manny Aguayo, Quincy
This 6-foot-3 senior guard is the Presidents' second-leading scorer. He had 13 points in an overtime win over Hanover on Dec. 19.
Jordan Nash, Randolph
This guard returns to the Blue Devils as a reigning South Shore League All-Star.
Jordan DePina, Rockland
Coach Fred Damon called DePina "a quick and aggressive point guard who can attack the hoop and shoot."
Terran Williams, Rockland
Coach Fred Damon called Williams "an athletic slasher who is also a great rebounder."
Michael Porter, Scituate
Senior captain was the Sailors' leading scorer last year at 17.8 points per game. He also averaged 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game as a junior All-Scholastic.
Roman Glowac, Scituate
Junior scored 23 points in a win over Southeastern on Dec. 22.
Jeremy Leonard, Silver Lake
Senior forward, a captain, finished with 14 points in a loss to East Bridgewater on Dec. 28.
Chance Moyer, Southeastern
Coach Dean Duquette said this senior guard "is extremely athletic and a tenacious defender. He can also attack you in a number of different ways on offense."
Seth Hayes, Southeastern
Senior guard "can score the basketball in a number of different ways," according to coach Dean Duquette.
Anthony Alessi, Stoughton
Sophomore posted a career-high 30 points in a loss to Attleboro on Dec. 20.
Thomas Stapleton, West Bridgewater
Senior center had a 40-point outburst with 12 rebounds in a win over Holbrook on Dec. 12. He made 12 of his 18 shots (4-of-5 from 3-point land, and 12-of-13 from the free throw line).
Collin Baker, West Bridgewater
This senior is a captain to lead a young Wildcats team.
Edric Louissaint, Weymouth
Senior was a Bay State Conference First Team All-Star as a junior, averaging 17.6 points per game. He led the Wildcats to their first tournament appearance since 2014. Louissaint opened this season with 28-point game in a win over Walpole on Dec. 12.
Will Savage, Weymouth
Savage registered a career-high 27 points in a win over Braintree on Dec. 19.
Ryan Baker, Whitman-Hanson
Coach Bob Rogers called this junior forward "a multi-talented player who can score from every level" and a "tenacious competitor." He averaged 18.6 points per game last season, with a career-high 37 points vs. Bridgewater-Raynham as the highlight.
Isaiah Bean-Brittian, Whitman-Hanson
Coach Bob Rogers called this sophomore "one of the most dynamic players in the Patriot League." Bean Brittain can play all five positions on the court.
