Shania Twain Speaks Out After the Internet Went Wild When She Fell on Stage

Shania Twain gave fans quite a scare at her Chicago concert over the weekend. Strutting around the stage in a pair of her iconic thigh-high boots finally caught up to her as she slipped and fell while on stage. No to worry though, the queen of country pop recovered quickly and she is doing just fine.

Like every other show on her Queen of Me tour, her Chicago show did not disappoint. And she didn't let her tumble stop her from giving the fans what they came for. Shania fell while performing one of her old classics "Don't Be Stupid (You Know I Love You)" from her 1997 album Come On Over. After her fall, she ensured fans she was alright saying, "Don't be stupid, Chicago! You know I love you!"

And after the show, she took to Twitter to comment about it. "I did stick the landing though 😉," she joked.

After they knew Shania was okay, fans were quick to make light of the situation in the comments sections of her Instagram post commemorating the Chicago show. "You even FALL like a queen. Glad you're okay ❤️," and "Queen of falling 😂👑," fans joked. Others commended Shania on her quick recovery saying, "Hooray Chicago! You show the world what a true pro you are as you turn a pratfall into a harmonious recovery. I also loved how you giggled too," and "Of course you still put on a great show even while on your butt!"

We can't wait to follow along as she finished out the last dates of her Queen of Me tour this year!
