Shania Twain Cheekily References Brad Pitt in Celebratory Message

Shania Twain is still the reigning queen of sending subtle messages to Brad Pitt.

The Babylon actor rang in his 60th birthday on Monday, Dec. 18, and to celebrate the occasion, Twain, 58, had a special cheeky message for the birthday boy.

Commenting on a birthday tribute from PEOPLE magazine's Instagram page, the country songstress cleverly added, "...that don't impress me much, but HBD 😘."

Twain's message is a reference to her 1997 hit song "That Don't Impress Me Much," where she famously drops the Oscar-winner's name in the lyrics.

"Okay, so you're Brad Pitt / That don't impress me much,” the singer says in the song. "So you got the looks, but have you got the touch? / Don't get me wrong, yeah I think you're alright / But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night."

But fans will remember that the iconic "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" singer previously changed the Pitt lyric while performing at the People's Choice Awards in December 2022, notably switching his name out with that of another hunky actor: Ryan Reynolds.

The Deadpool star—who looked shocked to hear his name during Twain's performance—later responded to be subbed in for Pitt, saying the special moment "may be the best thing that's ever happened to me."

The following month, Pitt was asked about being replaced by Reynolds in the song, though he didn't seem to be too bent out of shape about it.

When an interviewer asked about Reynolds "stealing [his] thunder," the Ocean's Eleven actor insisted, "He didn't steal. I think we can share the wealth there."

"Yeah, Ryan's a good egg," he added at the time. "He deserves some love."

Apparently, there's plenty of Twain love to go around!
