Shadow Shows Some Leg In Sonic The Hedgehog 3 Tease

The first official image from the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie has appeared online, teasing Sonic’s old rival Shadow.

Shadow The Hedgehog did appear in the last movie’s post credits scene, ascending from a secret research facility. It wasn’t exactly a tease either, because we got a full look at the ‘hog with a gun.

Still, the official Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie account has tweeted out another first look at “project Shadow” as he’s known in the movie-verse, showing off his crappy shoes and the logo for the movie itself.

The logo is interesting to Sonic fans because it resembles the logo from the game Sonic Adventure 2, where the fifty year-old Shadow The Hedgehog made his first appearance. While not a great deal is known about the plot of Sonic The Hedgehog 3, that logo helps fuel rumors that it may repeat some story elements from Sonic Adventure 2.

For Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Ben Schwartz will reprise his role as Sonic the Hedgehog, Colleen O'Shaughnessey is back as Miles "Tails" Prower, and Idris Elba returns as Knuckles the Echidna.

You have plenty of time to get excited about Sonic The Hedgehog 3, because it’s not out until December 20, 2024. The first two Sonic movies have been a success, with Sega and Paramount announcing a live action spinoff TV series, with Idris Elba returning to the role Knuckles.
