Severe thunderstorm warnings expire in Greater Cincinnati region, more storms on the way
All weather warnings have been lifted in the Cincinnati area as the first line of storms rolled through to central Ohio, but more storms are expected later.
The greatest strong and severe storm risk through 4 p.m. will be in south central Ohio and northeast Kentucky, according to the National Weather Service at Wilmington.
There is expected to be a two to four-hour lull in the immediate wake of the initial storms, so there may not be much redevelopment until 5 p.m. or 6 p.m., the weather service said. A second round of storms is expected after 5 p.m.

Warnings expired
A severe thunderstorm warning for Clermont, Brown, Warren, Clinton and Highland counties expired at 2 p.m. An additional warning issued for Hamilton County in Ohio and a portion of Kenton County in Kentucky was lifted at 1:30 p.m.
Duke Energy's outage map shows 3,284 customers are without power in the Cincinnati area.

Severe weather outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday
The weather service's severe weather outlook for Tuesday and Wednesday said one or more rounds of storms are expected late this afternoon through the evening. Strong to severe storms are likely. The primary threats are large hail and damaging winds. Tornadoes are possible.
Heavy rain associated with the thunderstorm activity may also lead to localized flooding. Additional storms, some strong to severe, will be possible Wednesday evening into Wednesday night.
