Serious crash with pedestrian, motorcycle and vehicle in Toms River under investigation

TOMS RIVER - A serious crash involving a pedestrian, motorcycle and vehicle on Route 166 Wednesday is under investigation, according to police.

The incident took place in the area of Stella Plaza and closed Route 166 between Lomell Lane and Mapletree Road Wednesday evening, Toms River Police said.

The Ocean County Prosecutors Office, Ocean County Sheriffs Department and Toms River Police Department Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the serious crash, police said.
