Tiger Woods’ digital series with Discovery was put on hold after he suffered multiple serious injuries in a Los Angles car crash earlier this year. But now, six months after that late-February accident, the project will continue moving forward.

Earlier today, Discovery-owned Golf Digest debuted the first episode of a four-part series called A Round with Tiger: Celebrity Playing Lessons.

The content for these episodes was filmed on Feb. 22, the day before Tiger’s harrowing crash. Scheduled to shoot episodes with NFL QBs Drew Brees and Justin Herbert the very next day, Woods was driving to another day of filming when he lost control of his SUV on February 23.

The episodes were released with Woods’ blessing and permission, per The Hollywood Reporter.

“The content was captured in February, the day before Tiger had his unfortunate car accident, from which he is still recovering,” Discovery said in a statement. “Discovery and Golf Digest thank everyone for their involvement and wish Tiger a continued speedy recovery.”

The first episode released today featured actress and longtime friend of Woods, Jada Pinkett-Smith. Future episodes of the show will include three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade and actor/comedian David Spade.

In light of Woods’ recent crash, Discovery and Golf Digest hope the deep conversations captured in these episodes can be seen through an even more impactful lens.

“The teams at Discovery and Golf Digest have built such a close relationship with Tiger over the years, and this resulted in some of the most enlightening, engaging content we’ve ever shot,” GM of Golf Digest Chris Reynolds said, per THR. “We thank Tiger for allowing us to move forward in producing this series even after his accident and wish him a continued speedy recovery.”
