Serena Williams Confirms She Donated Her 'Super Soldier Milk' to Those in Need

Serena Williams is celebrating the holidays by giving a very special gift to those in need.

The tennis legend, 42, confirmed in a new Instagram post that she recently donated her leftover breast milk to women and babies in need, a gesture she said "felt amazing" to do.

The record-breaking athlete recently gave birth to her second baby, daughter Adira River, whom she welcomed in August with husband Alexis Ohanian. The couple also share firstborn daughter Olympia, age 5.

Sharing a photo of a freezer full of breast milk packages in her post on Wednesday, Dec. 20, Williams said it was during a recent trip to New York that she ended up with some leftover packets, and "after going through a screening," she was able to give her milk to those in need instead of taking it home.

"I know so many amazing women that adopt or are unable to make milk," she wrote in her caption. "It felt amazing."

"BTW," she added at the end of the post, "Someone out there is getting some super soldier milk 🤭."

And she's not wrong, as users in the comments confirmed that any baby would be lucky to receive breast milk from the 23-time Grand Slam winner.

"With your diet and who you are I would drink that milk myself," one person quipped under the post, as other users dubbed Williams' breast milk, "liquid gold," and "milk of champions."

"The baby‘s gonna pick up a racket by the third pack," someone else joked.

Others applauded Williams' for the incredibly good deed, including one user who commented, "What an incredible gift to give. ❤️."

"You are the GOAT in so many ways!" another fan echoed, calling acts like Williams' "So important for our preemies! 🐐🐐🐐🐐."

Another super touched commenter applauded Williams while writing, "Women supporting women in the most basic and loving way 😍😍😍."
