Senior Pit Bull's Life Is Totally Transformed After Meeting Playful Puppy Sibling
Aging is a normal part of life, but sometimes we need a reminder that life isn't over just yet. For a senior Pit Bull named Chooch, it would take something really great to bring out his playful side that diminished over time. Luckily, someone was about to come into Choose's life to remind him how to live again.
In a recent video shared to Instagram by @eddienchooch215, rescue pup Cici breathes life back into Chooch, and it's a sight for sore eyes. Look at them go!
"She's keeping him young," the caption says, and it's clear. In the clip, Cici and her endless energy can't wait to play with Chooch. Once Dad sets him free in the backyard, the two of them romp and chase like it's the first time they've ever gotten to play. You can't even tell who's the puppy in this scene!
Chooch may be a senior, but sweet Cici brings out the best in him, and the pair's followers agree.
"I'd never seen Chooch so active before !!" one person wrote. "He needed a friend," another added. "They are perfect together!" another added, and they're right. Just look at the two of them together—a match made in doggy heaven!
It's so good to see a senior dog like Chooch embrace his youth again, all thanks to a fun-loving girl like Cici.

Ways To Make Your Senior Dog Feel Young Again
As our dogs get older, they naturally slow down. Regardless of their age, we want to help them feel their best all the way to the end. There are a few easy ways to make the journey easier and more enjoyable.
According to PetMD, helping your old dog feel young begins with keeping their diet and weight in check. If they're in a healthy weight and eating a healthy amount, their chances of living longer and better drastically improve. If the diet isn't enough, consider adding supplements like fish oil and vitamin B to combat heart and joint issues while helping them maintain a nice coat.
To keep their minds young, make sure your senior dog has enough mental stimulation through scent games and food puzzles as well as daily exercise—like daily walks—that doesn't put a strain on their musculoskeletal system. And if they're not as limber as they once were, try consulting with a physical therapist to get them back to feeling their best.
If all else fails, go the Chooch and Cici route. Adopting a younger, more vibrant shelter dog just might revive that light in your senior dog's eyes, and to be honest, there's nothing better than witnessing that.
