Selena Gomez's Boyfriend Benny Blanco Made Her Fried Pickles To 'Get Laid'
Benny Blanco knows what women want for Valentine's Day, and no, it's not a stuffy box of artisan chocolates. The music producer took to TikTok earlier this week to bring his followers along for the ride as he whipped up "girlfriend" Selena Gomez's favorite snack: fried pickles.
"Guys, it's Valentine's Day. These are my girlfriend's favorite pickles," Blanco said while showing off a massive tub of them. "The only problem is you can only get 'em shipped from f***ing Texas, but we got 'em, so now we're gonna fry 'em."
He proceeds, step by step, to whip up the fried pickles while telling viewers, "make your batter—I put Sprite in mine; if you don't like, go f*ck yourself."
After that's finished, he individually dunks the pickles into the batter and douses them pickles in Panko breadcrumbs. "Say good night!" he says. "Drop 'em in the deep fryer."
"Alright, guys. Take one, dip it, ranch, eat it, get laid," he says while trying the crispy, golden brown creation. And apparently...it worked. At least, the impressing her part. The Only Murders in the Building star took to social media to gush over her new man.
"🤍 I love you," she wrote simply on IG stories. Blanco posted his own V-Day snap, writing, "my valentine," alongside a photo of Gomez. One day prior, she posted a series of photos captioned "My bes fwend" to which Blanco responded, "Das my bes fwend." Aww.
The couple, who is clearly going strong, first sparked romance rumors back in December and Gomez was quick to confirm the relationship status. "He is my absolute everything in my heart" she wrote in one Instagram comment. "Then why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me. The end," she responded to another fan's criticism.
And while we don't know *what* exactly brought the new couple together, the pair did work on Gomez's latest song "Single Soon," which dropped in August 2023. Shoulda called the song "No Longer Single" though.
