Selena Gomez Takes Bridal Style to the Boardroom in a Ruched Ivory Dress

Selena Gomez is doing corporate style in her own unique way.
While hosting Rare Beauty’s third annual Mental Health Summit in New York City on Wednesday, the actor turned up wearing an incredible all-white ensemble—a look fit for the boardroom or a chic courthouse wedding.
The centerpiece of her outfit was an ivory cocktail dress by Australian luxury womenswear brand Maticevski. The piece, made out of a light crinkled fabric, evokes Old Hollywood glamour with its draped off-the-shoulder neckline. The asymmetrical hemline that climbs up the side of Gomez’s thigh adds more of a modern, sultry appeal.
Gomez capped off the look with suede pumps by Manolo Blahnik, then further accessorized with a small white leather top-handle bag and an array of shiny gold jewelry from Tabayer, including a pair of twisted diamond-encrusted hoop earrings and a similarly designed ring.
During the summit, Gomez spoke candidly about her own struggles with mental health, revealing that her advocacy in the field “stemmed from some of the darkest moments in my life,” per People.
“I struggled with the world inside my head for a long time and I felt lost and I felt hopeless at times. And in 2020, I received my diagnosis of bipolar disorder. And to be honest, everything quickly changed,” the star continued. “I actually got the knowledge and the answers that I had been desperate for for so long. And understanding that obviously makes me become more aware of it and I'm less afraid than I used to be.”
