The swoopy fastback BMW 4-series Gran Coupe receives updates to its styling and powertrain for 2025 to keep it competitive in the sports sedan class.
Slimmer headlamps and a reworked grille give the Gran Coupe a slightly more distinct face from last year's model.
A reworked rear bumper and taillamps are new for 2025 as well.
The Gran Coupe's wheel designs have been updated and several new colors have been added to the exterior color palette.
Under the hood, the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and optional turbocharged inline-six have been updated with a new 48-volt hybrid system.
The 430i's horsepower rating remains the same at 255 ponies, but the M440i gets boosted to 386 horsepower.
The interior also receives a few updated details, starting with two new steering wheel designs. This three-spoke, flat-bottomed wheel is part of the M Sport package. A two-spoke steering wheel is standard.
The iDrive 8.5 infotainment interface has also been tweaked to reduce menu complexity and improve usability.
Updated trim can be found throughout the cabin as well.
If you're shopping for an electric car, consider the similarly-styled BMW i4, which receives most of the same updates for 2025.
