SEE IT: Paul McCartney and Chris Rock bond over their bitter divorces

They get by with a little help from their friends.

A-listers Paul McCartney and Chris Rock bonded over their failed marriages in a recent conversation.

The two joked about their past rocky relationships on a new episode of the YouTube Originals’ program, “Released,” in which Rock interviewed McCartney about his new solo album that dropped Friday, called “McCartney III.”

During the 13-minute special, the legendary rocker performed a song off the new album called “Women and Wives.”

And the comedian just couldn’t resist.

“You never go bad with women and wives, my friend,” Rock joked at the end of the former Beatle’s performance.

“Wives? Well, I’m not sure about that,” McCartney laughed.

Rock responded, “Artistically, women and wives always give you material.”

The English musician, 78, agreed. “That’s true,” McCartney said. “That is true. And you definitely do. You start talking about your divorce and there you go — you’ve got a couple of hours on that.”

The 55-year-old stand-up comedian replied, “Oh yeah, I could, please, I could go on.”

McCartney famously went through a very bitter and public divorce from Heather Mills that was finalized in 2008. Though Mills walked away with a whopping settlement worth nearly $50 million, her antics during the split included dumping a pitcher of water on McCartney’s lawyer’s head in court.

Meanwhile, Rock, whose divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock was finalized in 2016, cracked during one of his later comedy sets, “Would I ever get married again? Not if it would cure AIDS,” according to Rolling Stone magazine.
