Nicole Scherzinger just recreated a scene from The Little Mermaid in a brand new Instagram video she shot on the beach, and it is so hilarious.
In the shot, the singer is wearing a cute swimsuit that shows off her mega-toned abs, legs, and everything else.
Nicole hits her workouts super hard, and likes to post the videos from her sessions on her feed.

The Little Mermaid is having a serious moment right now (h/t, Halle Bailey!). Like everyone else, Nicole Scherzinger wants to get her Ariel on at the beach—it just didn’t go according to plan.

The 44-year-old just shared a hilarious video on Instagram of herself lip syncing to“Part of Your World” while kneeling on the sand on the shoreline. Nicole looks super toned as she hangs in the sand, before a waves comes and totally knocks her over. “I wanna be where the people are… 🌊🧜🏽♀️,” she wrote in the caption.

People couldn’t stop cracking up in the comments. “From the archives: Nicole Scherzinger’s audition tape for The Little Mermaid 😂,” one joked. “You will be finding sand in places you don’t want to for days after that back wave 💥🌊🍑,” another said.

Before she totally got decked by a wave, Nicole showed off a glimpse of her next-level toned abs in her cute swimsuit. So, it's only natural to wonder what in the heck she has been doing to get her core so strong. As it turns out, she's been doing a lot, actually. And she actually loves to post her workouts on Instagram so people can follow along and see the work she's putting in.

Example A: Last week, the singer-actress shared a video on Instagram of herself totally crushing a gym workout. There’s Nicole doing a ton of squats to work her booty—with ropes and kettlebells—before moving on and doing burpees and a bunch of jump squats.

Nicole also shared gym pics and video in early June, including one of herself holding her leg up in a perfect split like it was nothing. That is a serious core-toning position, and definitely takes some skill.

Oh, you thought that was all? Nicole also shared a video from a workout in early June of herself doing a ton of booty-burning moves, like side lunges with a resistance band and front and back squats.

Nicole previously told Women’s Health that she likes to keep things fresh with her workouts, switching up moves regularly. “Most recently, I’ve just been pretty consistent with more HIIT workouts,” she said. That can include all the things she’s just featured on Instagram, along with running on the treadmill, followed by weight circuits. “I feel like I get more results that way,” she said.

She also does a ton of different types of exercise, including yoga, SoulCycle spinning, boxing, and dance cardio. “It’s really good to always keep your body guessing and to always switch it up,” she said.

When it comes to her diet and nutrition, Nicole is a fan of intermittent fasting, and said she likes to have breakfast foods at lunchtime. “I love eggs and gluten-free bread with a side of smoked salmon or some ham,” she said. Nicole said she may snack on raw almonds, cherry tomatoes, snap peas, Himalayan salt popcorn, and dark chocolate. “If I have some frozen fruit laying around, I’ll make an oat milk smoothie,” she said. “Sometimes I’ll put turmeric powder in it, which is delicious and anti-inflammatory.”

Dinner might be some type of meat, along with a grain and vegetables. And, at the end of the day, she’s into having a cup of mint tea. “There’s never not a right time for mint tea. That’s my motto,” she said.
