See the most expensive homes sold in each North Jersey county in April

Between an elaborate $4.8 million stone mansion in the suburbs of Bergen County, a spacious lakefront property with 162 feet of private shoreline and a luxurious $4 million home in a newly built Hudson County duplex, quite a few grand real estate transactions were finalized in April.

The Garden State has slowly been seeing more inventory hit the market, but median listing prices are still on the rise. This means already expensive North Jersey homes are selling for even higher prices.

Here's a look at the priciest homes sold in each North Jersey county in April:

Bergen County

307 Truman Drive, Cresskill — $4.8 million

The home at 307 Truman Drive in Cresskill sold for $4.8 million on April 30, making it the most expensive property to sell in all of North Jersey in the month. The property was listed by Mariana Papavasiliou and bought through Jennifer Etter and Jeri Green — all agents of Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty.

This seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom Colonial stone manor was designed by Morristown-based architect James Paragano. Features of the home, situated on more than an acre of land, include a two-story foyer, five limestone fireplaces, a mahogany library, a home theater, a home gym, two sets of washers and dryers, and a three-car garage. Outside, there's a spacious patio space with a fireplace and electric awnings, a flat-screen TV, an infinity pool and LED lights. Plus, the home is equipped with a state-of-the-art smart home system, geothermal efficiency and a full house generator.

Passaic County

10 Parclake Court, Wayne — $1.5 million

In Wayne, 10 Parclake Court sold for $1.5 million on April 3. The property was listed by Eugene Lowe of Howard Hanna Rand Realty, who also sold the priciest home in Passaic County in March.

With 5,100 square feet of living space on 1.16 acres of land, this four-bedroom, six-bathroom lakefront ranch is at the end of a cul-de-sac along Pompton Lake. With an open floor plan, the home features a living room with a two-sided fireplace, a formal dining room, a modern kitchen with a separate dining area and a family room with a fireplace. On the home's lower level, there are a summer kitchen, a built-in bar and a wine cellar room. The property is completed with a pool and dock.

Morris County

25 Miller Road, Morristown — $4.3 million

On April 4, the home at 25 Miller Road in Morristown sold for $4.3 million. The property — which is part of an exclusive eight-unit townhouse community — was listed by Zander Oldendorp of the Oldendorp Group at Compass New Jersey and bought with Robert Sameth Jr. of Turpin Realtors.

This Georgian-style end-unit townhouse, just a few blocks from the Morristown Green and the downtown area, has four bedrooms and six bathrooms, with more than 3,000 square feet of living space. Features of the property include a living room with a gas fireplace, a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances and a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a fireplace and two walk-in closets. There also are an elevator connecting the home's four floors, a large recreation room, a home gym, a two-car garage and a private outdoor space.

Essex County

The home at 36 Holly Drive in Millburn sold for $4.15 million on April 30. The property was listed by Arlene Gorman Gonnella of Weichert Realtors and bought with Carole Hu of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

Built in 2016, this seven-bathroom, seven-bedroom home was designed by Millburn-based architect Thomas Baio. The home, on a 0.62-acre lot, offers a two-story entrance hall, high ceilings throughout, an eat-in kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances and a center island, a family room with a gas fireplace, and a spacious primary suite with a gas fireplace, office space, a large walk-in closet and a spa-like ensuite bathroom.

Other features include a golf simulator, an exercise room, a nanny's suite, a mudroom and a four-car garage.

Sussex County

In Hopatcong, 2 Pickerel Point Drive was sold for $2 million on April 15. The property — which sits along the water of Lake Hopatcong — was listed by Kathleen Courter of RE/MAX House Values and bought with Paula Shepherd of United Real Estate.

Built in 2019, the three-bedroom, four-bathroom waterfront house consists of 3,500 square feet of living space. It has a kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances, a great room with a fireplace and a master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The property also has 162 feet of private shoreline with a dock, as well as a fenced-in yard with a firepit. Plus, views of the lake can be enjoyed from one of the home's many deck and patio spaces.

Hudson County

On April 16, the home at 201 Park Ave. #1 in Hoboken sold for $4 million. Located within the Magnolia House, two grand duplexes developed by John Heidenry of Hoboken-based Red Bridge Homes, the property was listed by David Domanich and bought with Daniel Konush, both agents with Corcoran Sawyer Smith.

Designed by D&G Interiors + Design, the property features a spacious open-concept living room and dining room, a gourmet kitchen with custom cabinets and a quartz island, a family room, a fireplace and a primary bedroom with two walk-in closets and a spa-like ensuite bathroom. The home also offers dual Carrier HVAC systems, a full-house water conditioning and filtration system, two-zone heat and air conditioning, a home intercom system and a sidewalk snow-melting system. And the duplex is completed with a private outdoor space that has a barbecue, refrigerator and weatherproof TV.
