See Martha Stewart practice her 'Riders Up' call ahead of the Kentucky (not Connecticut) Derby
On the Kentucky Derby red carpet Saturday, Martha Stewart confidently practiced saying the phrase "Riders up." But it's unclear if she practiced saying the name of the state she was in.
Stewart made headlines over the weekend for almost calling the state of Kentucky, "Connecticut" during the live broadcast.

Viewers on social media to make jokes about her slip of the tongue.
Some Kentuckians took it more personally that she got the state wrong, like one user on X (formerly Twitter)who said "Well Martha Stewart's never allowed back in the state." Others went along with it, including one user who said "I, too, am ready for the Connecticut Derby."
Martha Stewart is pickled to the point where she doesn’t even know what state and/or commonwealth she’s in. Yikes!
