SEE IT: Helen Mirren does ‘Tonight Show’ interview from bubble bath: ‘I’m running out of bubbles though’

Helen Mirren knows how to make a splash.

The beloved British actress appeared on “The Tonight Show” Thursday in a virtual interview with host Jimmy Fallon from the comfort of a bubble bath.

“I’m in my favorite place in the world,” the dame told a shocked Fallon, who couldn’t help but applaud.

“You might be the first guest ever to be in a bathtub on ‘The Tonight Show’ as a guest,” the late-night host told her.

The 75-year-old dame responded, “That’s the brilliant thing about Zoom, I was thinking, you know, ‘Why not be in the place that you love to sit and chat to people? I love having a chat to my husband while I’m sitting in a bath. So why not do it to the whole of America?’”

There was just one potential problem.

“I’m running out of bubbles though, that’s the problem,” she confessed. “You were chatting away and I was waiting and my bubbles were going down.

Fallon offered a solution. “I’ll make the interview very fast then,” he quipped.

Mirren appeared on the NBC show to promote “F9,” the latest in the “Fast & Furious” film franchise, hitting theaters next week.
