Here is a look at the Greater Lansing high school girls basketball Dream Team and all-area selections.

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The Associated Press Division 2 first team all-state selection and Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Best of the Best honoree helped the Cougars win CAAC White and district championships. She averaged 14.4 points, 4.2 assists and 2.4 steals. Richards made 65 3s and shot 41% from behind the 3-point arc.

▶ Year: Sophomore

▶ Accomplishments: Dixon was an honorable mention all-state selection in Division 2 by BCAM and helped the Vikings capture a district title. She averaged 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.0 assists. Dixon shot 74% from the free-throw line.

Rhema Dozier

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The Aquinas commit helped the Rams capture Division 1 district and regional titles and earned honorable mention all-state honors from BCAM. She averaged 16.0 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds.

Reese Gaytan

▶ Year: Senior

▶ Accomplishments: The Grand Valley State signee helped the Hornets capture the CAAC Red title and was a Division 2 honorable mention all-state selection by BCAM. The guard/forward averaged 10.0 points, and 7.1 rebounds.

Tara Kurncz

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: Kurncz earned honorable mention all-state honors in Division 1 from the AP and BCAM. She helped DeWitt win CAAC Blue and district titles and averaged 15.6 points and made 39 3s. She shot 42% from the field and 72% from the free-throw line.

Malia Thelen

▶ Accomplishments: The Lawrence Tech-bound guard helped the Raiders claim a share of the CAAC White title. The BCAM Division 2 honorable mention all-state selection averaged 13.4 points, 4.1 assists, 3.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds and knocked down 37 3-pointers.

▶ Year: Junior

▶ Accomplishments: The Grand Valley State commit was named BCAM's Best in Division 1 and honorable mention all-state by the AP. She averaged 12.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.0 steals and made 26 3s while helping the Panthers to CAAC Blue and district titles. Uyl shot 46% from the field, 43% from 3-point range and 81% from the free-throw line.

▶ Accomplishments: The Spring Arbor commit was named second team all-state by the AP and to BCAM's top all-state squad in Division 3. The guard averaged 17.4 points, 6.7 rebounds,5.5 steals and 27 assists for the Aggies.Zeitz shot 48% from the floor and 75% from the free-throw line.
