SEE IT: Cat jumps from burning building’s fifth floor and walks away

That’s one cool cat.

A cat jumped from the fifth floor of a burning building in Chicago last Thursday and walked away, as seen in a video shared by the Chicago Fire Department.

“Nine lives for a cat that jumped from fire at 65th and Lowe,” the Chicago Fire Department wrote in a tweet sharing the video. “Cat hit grass bounced and walked away!”

Authorities have not reported any injuries from the fire at the apartment building, according to ABC Chicago.

The video shows smoke coming from the fifth floor of the building. In a separate tweet, the fire department wrote the fire was out and had been “contained to single unit.”

However, the cat went missing after jumping from the building.

“Hennessy the flying cat has not returned home yet,” the fire department tweeted Friday. “Neighbors near 65th and Lowe are out looking for the now famous feline. His owner says he is a house cat that did not go out. We will update if he is located.”
