See a brazen Florida jewelry store smash-and-grab

Stop! Hammer time.

West Florida cops are looking for a trio of thieves who pulled off a brazen smash-and-grab heist in a Florida jewelry store.

“Three suspects used hammers to break display cases and steal high-end watches at the Diamond Galleria located in Citrus Park Mall shortly after 1:30PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2022,” the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook Tuesday.

According to cops in the Tampa area, the suspects used an employee entrance to enter and make their escape. They made their getaway in a silver, late-model Nissan Murano.

Security video that captured the robbery shows the bandits dressed in dark clothes from head to toe.

Florida news station WTSP reports that more than $100,000 in merchandise from the jeweler, where they smashed cases containing expensive timepieces. Police said no one was injured during the heist.
