Super Bowl Sunday isn't just for football, it's also for puppies! The Puppy Bowl is returning for its 20th year ahead of the NFL championship game in Las Vegas with adoptable dogs lineup that will melt your heart.
The cutest competition in sports will once again see Team Ruff and Team Fluff face off for the Wayfair "Lombarky" trophy. The Puppy Bowl, which is the longest running call-to-adoption TV event, will feature more than 100 puppies this year, including the all-time smallest pup, Sweetpea—weighing in at 1.7 lbs—and the biggest, Levi the Great Dane—weighing in at 72 lbs—as well as six special needs puppy players.
Puppies won't just be on the field, but also behind the scenes. Animal Planet revealed in a press release that "for the first time ever, puppies are taking over the show’s production by operating the cameras and lighting, directing from the control room, stage managing on the studio floor and even coaching Team Ruff and Team Fluff."
Puppy Bowl XX is being described as the "puppiest ever" and the "biggest yet." Before the paws-itively adorable pups hit the screen, here is everything to know about the 2024 Puppy Bowl.

The Puppy Bowl airs Sunday, Feb. 11, ahead of Super Bowl LVIII.

The Puppy Bowl will simulcast across Animal Planet, Discovery, TBS, truTV, Max and discovery+.
What time is the 2024 Puppy Bowl?
Tune into the pup-tastic event at 2 p.m. ET. Prior to the three-hour matchup, there will be a pre-game show at 1 p.m. ET on Animal Planet.

Who are the adoptable puppies in the 2024 Puppy Bowl lineup?
The Puppy Bowl will feature 131 puppies from shelters and rescues across Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, the Virgin Islands and West Virginia.

Four previous Puppy Bowl players will also return this year to be inducted into the all-new Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame.
Does the Puppy Bowl have a Halftime Show?
Yes! This year's Kitty Halftime Show is presented by Arm & Hammer Slide. In addition to a halftime show, the Puppy Bowl also has "Adoptable Pup" segments sponsored by Pedigree. The pups and kittens in the segments will be available for adoption during the game.
