The recruiting race for highly-touted quarterback Arch Manning continues to rage on.

Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien is reportedly set to visit the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2023 class at Isidore Newman in New Orleans, the high school’s head coach told 247 Sports recruiting analyst Steve Wiltfong.

Manning has made his way to Tuscaloosa on multiple occasions, including once this fall for a win over Ole Miss in Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama is one of many top programs to have shown heavy interest in the talented young signal caller — and that interest is clearly mutual.

“Coach Saban, he’s the best college coach of all time,” Arch Manning said back in March when talking to 247 Sports. “He’s just build such a great program at Alabama. I have the ultimate respect for him and his winning mentality and the way he goes about his business.”

“… I’d love to be in a program like that, that organized with Coach Saban, that would be a dream come true.”

In addition to the Crimson Tide, Manning is also strongly considering Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas — each of which he made visits to this season.
