Here are this season's SCAA East Divisional Meet winners

PITTSFORD — The Pittsford Wildcats hosted the SCAA East Divisional meet.

The Hillsdale Academy Colts teams walked away the team winners, defeating Pittsford's boys team 266-82 and Pittsford's girls team 317.5-142.5. Camden-Frontier teams took third. Will Carleton boys took fourth. Waldron girls track took fourth.

A top five results story will be released alongside the winners from this event in an upcoming print edition. Below are the winners from the divisional meet from Wednesday night.

The 100-meter dash for the boys events was won by sophomore Colt Dawson Scharer with a PR time of 11.57. The girls event was won by Hillsdale Academy senior Iris Millies with a 13.25 PR time.

Over in the 200, Pittsford freshman Brendon Nave was battling for the 100-meter victory with Scharer, but he got the win in the 200 with a PR time of 24.05. In the girls 200, Millies would win again, this time with a PR of 27.54 seconds.

Over in the girls 400-meter dash, Hillsdale Academy senior Angela Alvarez won with a time of 1:02.94. The boys 400 was won by Academy sophomore Zane Socha with a 56.12.

In the boys 800-meter dash, Pittsford senior Bryce Williams won with a new season-best time of 2:05.34. Academy junior Caroline Roberts won the girls 800 with a season-best time of 2:28.30.

The boys 1,600 race was won by senior Colt Karol Schlueter with a 4:51.30 PR time. Pittsford senior Brooke Smith took first in the 1,600 girls race with a time of 5:44.16.

Smith followed up that win with another win in the 3,200-meter dash. The Wildcat senior set a season-best time of 12:03.55. The boys 3,200 was won by Colt junior Reece Poole with a 10:56.11.

The girls 100-meter hurdles was won by freshman Colt Lucy Cote with a 16.67. The boys 110 hurdles was won by Dawson Scharer with a 16.27.

Scharer then broke his own school record time from this past weekend with a 39.92 PR time in the 300 hurdles, winning the divisional race. The girls 300 hurdles was won by Pittsford junior Ava Mallar with a 48.87. Rival hurdler Cote took second.

The 4x100 relay girls race was won by the Academy team of Lucy Cote, Madison Sallows, Haven Socha and Iris Millies with a time of 52.48, coming up just short of their school record time of 52.25. Pittsford took second, and Camden-Frontier took third.

The boys 4x100 relay was won by the team of Teagan Williams, Noah Pann, Ryan Evener and Gavyn Carden from Pittsford with a time of 47.62. Will Carleton Academy took second and Hillsdale Academy took third.

Carden and Teagan Williams would help their 4x200 teammates Brendon Nave and Bryce Williams win the 4x200 race with a time of 1:37.72. Hillsdale Academy took second and Camden-Frontier took third.

The 4x200 girls relay race was won by the Academy team of Jaylyn Fischer, Julia Casper, Angela Alvarez and Lucy Cote with a time of 1:53.30. Pittsford took second. Camden-Frontier took third.

The girls 4x400 relay team of Haven Socha, Madison Sallows, Caroline Roberts and Angela Alvarez from the Academy took first with a time of 4:13.33. Pittsford took second and Camden-Frontier took third.

The boys 4x400 relay event was also won by a Colt team. Hillsdale Academy runners Alex Richards, Karol Schlueter, Zane Socha and Thomas Holm won the two-team race with a time of 3:48.35. Camden-Frontier took second.

The boys 4x800 relay was won by Waldron's team of Ryan Anderson, Cameron Kurtz, Aiden Williams and Collin Williams with a time of 10:04.30. Hillsdale Academy took second.

The girls 4x800 relay was won by Pittsford's team of Lillian Jagielski, Karlee Embach, Riley McCumber and Brooke Smith with a time of 11:03.82. Hillsdale Academy took second and Camden-Frontier took third.

Field Results

Hillsdale Academy senior Evie Gray won the girls shotput and discus events with respective throws of 29-feet, 8 1/2 inches and 99-feet, 10 inches.

Hillsdale Academy boys athletes split the shot put and discus first place finishes. Senior Magnus Heckel won shot put with a throw of 43-feet,6 inches, narrowly beating out fellow senior teammate Dominic Scharer. Heckel would end up throwing a 128-11 1/2 PR distance in Discus, but school record holder Dominic Scharer threw a 149-6 to win the event.

Over in high jump, the boys event was won by senior Ethan Wickham of Camden-Frontier. The Bluffton football commit had a jump of 5-08, beating out teammate Dominic Kurtz in a tiebreaker.

The girls high jump event was won by Riley McCumber with a 4-07 clearance height, which narrowly beat out Academy athletes Julia Caspar, Natalie Spielman and Liz Creger (each with a 4-05).

Over in the girls pole vault finals, junior Chloe Fowler of Pittsford won with a clearance height of 9-feet, 7 inches, a new PR.

The boys pole vault event was won by Wildcat Teagan Williams, setting a new PR clearance height of 12-03.

Over in the girls long jump event, a narrow race between three athletes including Haven Socha (2nd), Shelby Bryner (3rd) and Zoe Plemmons concluded with Colts freshman Plemmons taking first with a distance of 14-feet 9 1/2 inches.

The boys long jump event saw two athletes battles for the top placement. Ultimately, it was Will Carleton senior Tyler Barnes taking first with a 18-09 jump distance, a season-best result. Pittsford senior Ryan Evener took second with a PR jump that will be covered in the top five results story.
