Will There Be a Season 2 of Netflix's Harry & Meghan?
All six episodes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix docuseries are out now, telling the story of how Harry and Meghan fell in love, got married, had Archie, and stepped back from being working members of the royal family.
Now that the full documentary is here, many viewers are wondering: Will there be a season two of Harry & Meghan?
Though their show broke Netflix records, they likely they won't continue Harry & Meghan. However, we could see the royal couple on Netflix in other capacities. The docuseries was part of their deal with the streaming giant, which they made in 2020. "Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope," Harry and Meghan said that year. "As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us."
One project that is confirmed to be in development is a series on Prince Harry's Invictus Games. "Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve," Prince Harry said. "This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year."
There's a good chance that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will appear in the documentary, as the two attended the Invictus Games in the Netherlands this past spring. There's been no premiere date set yet for the series.
"We’re incredibly proud they have chosen Netflix as their creative home and are excited about telling stories with them that can help build resilience and increase understanding for audiences everywhere," Ted Sarandos, Netflix's CEO said at the time of their deal.
