Seacoast roundup: St. Thomas' Estes reaches milestone, Spaulding softball blanks Keene

DOVER - Junior Jackson Estes scored three goals, including the 100th of his career, and the St. Thomas Aquinas boys lacrosse team beat Merrimack, 9-4 on Wednesday in a Division II contest.

Finley De Tolla had four goals for the Saints, and Michael Ellis and Trent Salyards both had one. Estes and Aidan Morrison had two assists, and Ryan Resch had one.

Royal Edgerly was 15-for-17 on face-offs for St. Thomas, which improved to 7-3 on the season.

DOVER - Junior Tobey Desroches' six goals and two assists led Dover to this Division I win.

Micah Krick had four goals and two assists for the Green Wave, while Logan Carter (two goals, two assists), Lukah Ready (goal, assist), Riley Joyce (goal, assist), Ben Tower (goal, assist) and Silas Brown (goal) all figured in the scoring.

Merrimack Valley 1

PENACOOK - Beckett Rath had three goals as Winnacunnet earned this Division II win.

Tim Kollmorgen and Liam McNally both had one goal and assist for the Warriors, while Brian McCown and Lukas Botnick both had a goal, and Nolan Rennie had three assists.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Portsmouth 19

Bow 9

BOW - Annie Parker had four goals and two assists, and Morgan Ruhnke and Lilly Patterson both had three goals for Portsmouth in this Division I win.

Georgia Bouvier, Emery Lawton, Lexi Stanley and Ella Souza all had two goals for the Clipper, and Ginger Vinciguerra had one goal and two assists. Portsmouth goalie Sage Bussiere had three saves.

MERRIMACK - Phoebe Christenson's six goals led Exeter to this Division I win.

Hailey O'Kane added five goals and one assist for the Blue Hawks, while Grace McIllroy and Izzy Steiner both had two goals, Anna Lieberman and Karli Scherpf had one.

Nashua South 12

Dover 5

NASHUA - Khloe Healy had two goals, and Rylen Gray, Megan Healy and Reese Sanders all had one for Dover in a Division I loss. Maggie Berry (five) and Scarlet Gray (one) combined for six saves.

SOFTBALL

Spaulding 8

Keene 0

KEENE - Maddie Hartman struck out 12 and allowed two hits for Spaulding in this Division I win.

Bella Sherman had two hits, including a solo home run for the Red Raiders, while CJ Dexter and Izzy Brennan both had two hits and two RBIs, and Hartman had three hits and two RBIs.

GIRLS TENNIS

Winnacunnet 8

Keene 1

HAMPTON - Mia Botnick (No. 2, 8-5), Amelia Dumont (No. 3, 8-1), Ava Sebeny (No. 4, 8-0), Amelia Shannon (No. 5, 8-2) and Mazie Snell (No. 6, 8-3) all won in singles for Winnacunnet (10-1) in this Division II match.

In doubles, Stella Sebeny and Botnick won 9-8 (7-4) at No. 1, Dumont and Ava Sebeny won 8-0 at No. 2, and Shannon and Snell won 8-2 at No. 3.
