Lincoln Park Academy (9-5) 8, Bayside (10-6) 1: Makayla Megnauth had possibly the best game of her young career. Every out the Greyhounds seventh grader recorded came via strikeout as she fanned 21 batters as part of a one-hit complete game. Offensively, Megnauth drove in six of the team’s eight runs. She blasted the first home run of her prep career and added a three-run double.

Sebastian River (12-10) 3, Master’s Academy (10-6) 2: Keira Carow was solid in the circle and had a perfect day at the plate for the Sharks. The junior allowed two runs on six hits and a walk with nine strikeouts through seven innings. She was also 2-for-2 at the plate with a walk and a run scored.

Whitney Villars, Makayla Smith and Jazmin Hunt each had a double, with Smith and Hunt producing an RBI apiece. Olivia Lore and Aubrey Grall each had two hits for Master’s Academy.

Vero Beach (10-10-1) 10, Heritage (2-14) 0 (F/5): Dayna Patten got the job done at the plate while Emma Youngblood took care of business at the plate for the Indians.

Tossing five innings, Patten only relinquished a hit and a walk with six strikeouts. She also scored three times, stole three bases and hit a double. Youngblood went 2-for-2 with a home run, a walk, four RBIs and a run scored.

Baseball

Lincoln Park Academy (9-5) 4, Fort Pierce Westwood (7-9-1) 1: Jaylyn Monds had a double and scored a run while Brandon Fillmore had an RBI for the Panthers.

Martin County (17-4) 11, Palm Beach Gardens (8-14) 6: Four players had two hits in the win for the Tigers. Anthony Trigillo and Frankie Brancaleone were both a part of that group, as each player collected a double. Trigillo drove in two runs while posting a walk and a run scored. Brancaleone had an RBI and a run scored.

The other two members of the two-hit club were Joseph Cuccurullo (RBI, R) and Will Perry (RBI, 2 R).

Vero Beach (17-3) 8, Astronaut (6-10) 0: Three pitchers completed for a shutout for the Indians. Sebastian Dimitroff had the longest stint on the mound, allowing a hit and a walk with 10 strikeouts in only four innings. Marshall Cobb added four strikeouts while Brandon Walker chipped in with a scoreless inning of work.

Offensively, Finley Holmes and Jace Romans each had two hits. Holmes clubbed a solo home run and scored twice. Romans contributed an RBI, a walk and a run scored. Elsewhere, Chase Wilson had two RBIs and Garret Srigley added a double and two runs scored.

Girls Lacrosse

District 13-2A

No. 1 Martin County (13-2) 17, No. 4 Wellington (7-10) 4: The top-seeded Tigers take on No. 2 Jupiter at 5 p.m. Wednesday in Stuart for the district title.

Boys Lacrosse

District 8-2A
