Softball

St. Lucie West Centennial (7-4) 1, Lincoln Park Academy (5-3) 0:Hailey Brereton fired a perfect game for the second time in her career as she blanked the Greyhounds. The junior had 20 strikeouts and needed just 82 pitches to go 21 up, 21 down. She also tossed a no-hitter against LPA as a freshman two years ago. Jaelyn Cooke scored the game’s only run as the Eagles freshman went 2-for-3 with a double. Myrna Pratt also had two hits.

South Fork (7-1) 13, Okeechobee (3-7) 2 (F/5): Emma Ortiz was perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs for the Bulldogs. Meanwhile, Rachel Kramer added to the onslaught, as the freshman clubbed her first home run as part of a three-RBI night. In the circle, Katie Kidwell allowed one hit and did not allow an earned run in the win.

Martin County (3-5) 18, Port St. Lucie (0-1) 1 (F/3): The Tigers totaled 15 hits, with Amelia Hannah and Kylie Newberry topped the team with three hits apiece. Ciana Vargas, Taylor Synowski and Jayden Garcia each scored three runs, with Garcia driving in three runs while Vargas and Synowski both stole a base.

Kings (1-0) 10, Sebastian River (4-8) 0 (F/5): Rily Biggers had two hits in the loss for the Sharks. Jazmin Hunt chipped in with a triple.

Baseball

Lincoln Park Academy (6-2) 10, Heritage (8-6) 2: Patrick Johnson drove in three runs to lead the Greyhounds in an easy victory. The junior went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored. Luke Smith also collected two hits while Jeremai Knight posted a team-best three hits. Smith was also solid on the bump, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks with two strikeouts through six innings of work.

Vero Beach (9-3) 12, Centreville (Va.) (0-1) 1 (F/5): Finley Holmes was just one hit shy of a cycle while Cody Morgan was nearly unhittable during a run-rule win for the Indians. Holmes was 3-for-4 at the plate with four RBIs and two runs scored. Morgan relinquished an unearned run on one hit and one walk with seven strikeouts through five frames.

Tradition Prep (5-7) 16, Atlantic (0-9) 0 (F/5): Tyler Hagan fanned eight while tossing four scoreless innings for the Pirates. He allowed two hits and four walks. Yadiel Figuero, Zayden Hernandez and Giovanni Tufarelli each contributed a double. Drew Cottin and Aliet Garcia had two hits apiece, as Cottin scored three times while Garcia drove in three runs and scored twice.
