Scarlett Johansson set to lead new Jurassic World movie
Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in talks to star in the new Jurassic World movie.
The Marvel star may soon share the screen with some big dinos in the upcoming fourth film in the Jurassic Park saga, set to hit theatres on July 2, 2025 (via The Hollywood Reporter).
If confirmed, Johansson taking the lead in the new dinosaur movie would mark her return to a huge franchise after she bowed out from the MCU in 2021's Black Widow.

The new Jurassic World movie is helmed by director Gareth Edwards, who took over from David Leitch, with Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp returning to pen this new adventure.
The upcoming flick follows Jurassic World: Dominion, the third adventure starring Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt.
Released in 2022, Dominion also saw the return of original Jurassic Park stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum, reprising their roles as Ellie Sattler, Alan Grant and Ian Malcolm.

The fourth Jurassic World movie was announced earlier this year, though fans shouldn't hold their breath to see any of the original cast members this time around.
Addressing a possible return in Jurassic World number four, Neill explained he hasn't heard much about the next film in the movie universe spawned by Steven Spielberg's 1993 cult hit.
"All I know is what I see on social media, that I hardly ever look at. I have no idea what anyone's thinking at all," Neill shared in a recent interview with Forbes, admitting he may be done "running from dinosaurs".
Similar to Neill, it doesn't seem that Jurassic World stars Howard and Pratt will star in chapter four. As the next Jurassic World is said to focus on brand new characters, it's unlikely the two actors will return as Claire Dearing and Owen Grady.
The fourth Jurassic World movie currently has a release date of July 2, 2025.
