Jordan Nebling never had it easy.

Put in foster care at 8, she was adopted, but left that house at 16 and bounced around between homes of friends and boyfriends.

Now she’s missing. She’s been missing for two years.

Her case will be mentioned on In Pursuit with John Walsh at 9 p.m. Wednesday on Investigation Discovery and available to stream on Discovery+.

Friends and family, most especially her ex stepmother, Mary Tucker, hope the show will finally reveal what happened to the then 19-year-old who had just gotten a job at Hardee’s.

Inspector Blake Wolfe of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday the case has been tough from the start because Nebling was not reported missing for a month after she was last seen in Travelers Rest on Oct. 10, 2020.

Tucker said Nebling was driving a friend’s car when it broke down. She pulled into a driveway and called the car owner and an ex-boyfriend.

The ex-boyfriend showed up, Wolfe said. The residents of the house where the car was left said they saw her get into a car with a white male around 1:30 p.m. that day.

A month later after Tucker filed the missing person report, deputies interviewed the ex-boyfriend, who acknowledged he picked her up, took her to his house and then she walked off.

That’s as far as the trail goes, Wolfe said.

The month delay set investigators back. The leads so far have led nowhere — Mexican Mafia kidnapped her, she was murdered.

Tucker said Nebling never met a stranger.

“She was charismatic, super fun, people loved to be with her,” said Tucker, who runs the Facebook page Find Jorden Nebling.

She wants people to see Nebling’s face to help bring her home.

But every time she posts something, someone will say something about Nebling’s untraditional life, her drug use.

“She had a past, but that doesn’t define a person,” Tucker said. “That doesn’t make her less important.”

She is described as having blonde hair, blue eyes, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds. A tattoo of birds and the words “Live Free” is on her left forearm.
