Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2024: What to know about parking, fines and more

The 200th St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Savannah is set to take place beginning at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Event goers are strongly encouraged to arrive early.

The famed parade is set to begin at the intersection of Gwinnett and Abercorn Streets immediately following the Celebration of Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, detailed event organizers.

The parade celebration is one of the largest in the country, featuring traditional Irish dancers, elaborate holiday floats, highlighted Irish heritage and more.

Fines for local ordinance violations that will be in effect include but are not limited to items such as:

  • One drink on-street limit: $121

  • Open Container outside of festival area: $121

  • Drinking from a can, bottle or glass: $121

  • Disorderly conduct by: urinating in public: $121

  • Drinking in a parked motor vehicle: $148

  • Disorderly conduct: $229

  • Public indecency: $229

  • Unlawful for a minor to drink or possess alcohol: $250
