Salma Hayek Walked the 2023 Oscars Red Carpet With Her 15-Year-Old Daughter in Stunning Red Gowns
The 2023 Oscars red carpet is well underway, and while the biggest trend of the night so far has been folks showing up in bridal white, Salma Hayek went the complete opposite direction and stunned in a fiery-red sequin gown. Plus! Salma’s date for the night was her 15-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault, who complemented her in a luxe strapless A-line red number:
Salma is one of the presenters tonight, so we’ll be seeing more of her in this gorge ensemble later. This isn’t Valentina’s first time tagging along with Salma for a major red carpet moment. Back in 2021, Valentina was on her mom’s hip during the various premieres of The Eternals, which Salma starred in as Ajak. Here they are at the UK premiere:

Salma has also been doing press recently for her role in Magic Mike’s Last Dance, and in a recent interview, she talked about feeling like she had a real seat at the table for the first time.
“I went in and, you know what, [it was the] first time I feel like I was really heard, respected and invited,” Salma said. “It was actually very interesting because we would get together and have many very different opinions. It was very interesting to see three different men have such different perspectives. [Although] sometimes they seem like the perspectives of Martians.”
