Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox took to social media Friday to announce he has another baby on the way.

Fox and his wife, Recee, are expecting their second child after welcoming baby Reign into the world in February 2023.

Fox posted a photo to Instagram of himself and Recee, each with one hand on her stomach, with a caption that read: “There’s nothing I’ve ever wanted more than to grow a family with you. Reigny’s going to be the best big brother.”

Fox averaged 26.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.0 steals last season with his wife and son sitting courtside for home games at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento. Recee and Reign also had courtside seats when Fox scored 41 points in a 123-115 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 3 — Reign’s first birthday — at the United Center in Chicago.

Fox’s wife was known as Recee Caldwell when she played point guard at UCLA, Texas Tech and Cal. They got married in Malibu in August 2022.

Fox has spent seven seasons with the Kings since coming out of Kentucky as the No. 5 pick in the 2017 NBA draft. He led the Kings to their first playoff appearance since 2006 last season to earn All-NBA and All-Star selections for the first time in his career.

The Kings fell short of the playoffs this season, but Fox said the 2022-23 campaign was a storybook season for him with baby Reign arriving amid a career year for his doting dad.

“I think it was almost something out of a movie,” Fox said a year ago. “Just with my life coming together like that, I definitely think Year 25 for me is probably the best year that I’ve had in my life, and I just want to keep this feeling going.”
