You s5 filming pics tease Handmaid's Tale star's new character
New pictures from the set of You season 5 have sparked curiosity about a new character entering Joe Goldberg's life.
The final chapter of Netflix's popular psychological thriller has added The Handmaid's Tale's Madeline Brewer to its cast.
The Cam star plays enigmatic playwright Bronte, with images obtained by Digital Spy confirming she will get dangerously close to Penn Badgley's protagonist killer.

After taking a job at Joe's NYC bookstore, it seems that Bronte will help him find the best hidden treasures to restore to former glory.
The new set photos show Bronte and Joe loading a car with items from what looks like a house clearance sale.
According to the character description, the two will bond over their love of literature, with Bronte awakening Joe's nostalgia for his former self. Her impact also has Joe asking questions about his life to date.
Their genuine connection takes on a sinister connotation given Joe's past of murders and deceit. But will Bronte see right through his charming facade?

Meanwhile, there's a chance You season 5 will treat fans to a time jump after pictures circulating earlier this month showed Joe and his partner Kate Galvin (Charlotte Ritchie) alongside a young boy played by Frankie Demaio.
While Demaio's role hasn't been announced just yet, some fans are convinced he plays Joe and Love Quinn's son, Henry, who we last saw as a baby at the end of the deadly showdown of season 3.
Alongside Demaio and Brewer, Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp has joined the show for its grand finale in the dual roles of Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, with Griffin Matthews starring as Teddy Lockwood.
You season 5 is in production. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix.
