Russian Doll star's new movie lands 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating
After premiering at Sundance Film Festival, Greta Lee's new movie Past Lives has reached a coveted Rotten Tomatoes score.
The film, which recently played at Berlinale, has landed a 100% rating on the movie review aggregator at the time of writing, garnering praise from critics.
Filmmaker Celine Song's directorial debut chronicles the decades-long connection between Nora (Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo). The two protagonists first meet in primary school, where their childhood romance comes to a halt when Nora emigrates to Canada with her family.

Their paths cross again 12 years later, when Nora lives in New York and tries to make it as a playwright. They reconnect on social media and imagine a reunion, but fate has twists in store for them before they can finally meet again.
Ever since its premiere, A24's Past Lives has been hailed as one of the most impressive debuts out of this year's Sundance and one to keep an eye out for once a release date is announced. Check out what some of the critics have been saying below:

In the meantime, Lee – known for her role as Maxine in Netflix's Russian Doll and Stella in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show – features on the huge, star-studded cast of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Set to premiere in June this year, the second outing in the Miles Morales' Spider-saga sees Shameik Moore and Hawkeye's Hailee Steinfeld returning to voice the protagonist and Gwen Stacy respectively.
They are joined by Lee, Barbie's Issa Rae and New Girl's Jake Johnson, as well as Daniel Kaluuya and Oscar Isaac. Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone and Shea Whigham also star.
Past Lives doesn't have a release date as of yet.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits US cinemas on June 2, 2023.
