Rushton becomes fifth managing partner of Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald

Jan. 9—WILKES-BARRE — The Law Firm of Rosenn Jenkins and Greenwald, LLP, has announced that Paul T. Rushton, Esq., has been elected as the Managing Partner of the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald, LLP, is a full-service law firm with offices in Wilkes-Barre and Tunkhannock. The firm, founded in 1954, provides both law and community service.

Rushton becomes only the fifth Managing Partner in the firm's 70-year history.

Steven P. Roth, Esquire, who had served as the firm's Managing Partner since Jan. 1, 2016, stated, "Paul Rushton was an indispensable part of RJG's management team during my tenure as the Managing Partner of the firm. Paul has strong leadership skills and a tremendous work ethic. Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald will be in good hands under his stewardship."

Rushton joined Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald, LLP, in 2002 and became a Partner of the firm on Jan. 1, 2009. He has served as the Chair of the firm's Business & Finance Department and as a member of the firm's Management Committee for the past several years.

Rushton practices exclusively in the areas of corporate law, commercial transactions, business formation, owner disputes, and mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He is known in legal and business circles for his thoroughness, attention to detail, and dedicated advocacy for clients.

Rushton is also committed to his community, as evidenced by his current service as a member of the Board of Trustees of Misericordia University, the Board of Directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Business and Industry, the Board of Directors of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Growth Partnership, the Board of Directors of The Institute, and the Board of Directors of the United Way of Wyoming Valley, as well as his past service on the Board of Directors of several other local charities.

He is also active in the Business Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association through his work on the Section's Council, Executive Committee, Title 15/Business Associations Committee, and Closely Held Business Committee.

Rushton currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Section and as the Chair of the Section's Closely Held Business Committee. He was also appointed and commissioned as a member of the Pennsylvania Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee several years ago and has served on the Committee since that time.

A cum laude graduate of Susquehanna University in 1997, Rushton earned his law degree from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University in 2000. He is a native of Wilkes-Barre and graduated from G.A.R. Memorial High School. He resides in Nuangola with his wife, Tesha.
