Rupert Grint’s 1-Year-Old Is Already Quite Familiar with ‘Harry Potter’ (& Ron Weasley)

Rupert Grint is already counting down the days until his 1-year-old daughter, Wednesday, receives her letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

The Harry Potter alum, 33, appeared on a recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. During the interview, Grint confirmed that he’s already introducing Wednesday to the magical franchise that made him famous.

It all started when Jimmy Fallon asked if Grint will tell his daughter about his celebrity status. “Now you have this beautiful baby,” the host said. “And one day you’re gonna show her these movies one day and say, ‘That’s daddy!’”

Grint explained that while Wednesday hasn’t watched the Harry Potter movies, she’s already received a few sneak peeks and souvenirs, including a Ron Weasley PEZ dispenser. (Amazon is selling a four-pack for $17, which includes Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and—of course—Ron Weasley.)

“I’ve already started showing her the trailers,” he said. “She has a wand and a PEZ dispenser with my head on it.”

While discussing parenting, Grint admitted that Wednesday has picked up a bad habit after she visited him on the set of The Servant, where his character regularly curses. “She says ‘dada,’ she says ‘mama.’ It was kind of at the same time,” he explained. “And also, the F-word came pretty quickly.”

Grint continued, “Now she just says it whenever she’s excited. We were in the toy store today and she was just walking around dropping it.”

The question is: Has Grint taught Wednesday any spells?
